This spot is a dependable choice for quality Thai seafood in London. The whole fried fish is well-executed, with a crisp skin and moist meat that isn't weighed down by grease. The accompanying lime and chili dressing provides a clean, sharp balance to the dish. The soft shell crab is equally solid, featuring a light, peppery batter rather than a heavy coating. It’s simple, authentic cooking that focuses on fresh ingredients and proper technique. If you're looking for a satisfying, fuss-free meal, it definitely hits the mark.

This is the third time I came back, mostly for the hot coffee, it’s a must try for people to come here. About the food, I would highly recommend grilled meat, Bun Cha and grilled lemongrass pork more than the noddle soups (one of the best grilled meat). Honestly, the staffs today when I visit were friendly. Gave us some recommendations, we felt really welcome. I hope them have a good Lunar New Year. Will visit again.

BunBunBun is definitely a great spot for pho lovers! I had their chicken pho, and it was absolutely delicious—flavourful, aromatic, and comforting. The broth had the perfect balance of depth and freshness, and the portion size was generous. However, my friend had the beef pho and felt it was just a tiny bit less flavourful than expected, though still enjoyable. The salt and pepper squid was definitely moreish! The atmosphere was cosy, and the service was friendly, making it a solid choice for Vietnamese food. I’d definitely go back! Worth the price!

We stopped here for dinner after a bushy cold day in London. The food was good. Not exceptional, but very good. Very cleanly prepared and nicely plated. There were four of us and everyone was very satisfied. This is really good comfort food. The soups are excellent. Try the pancake. I’m not a fan of tofu, but fried in the pancake it was good. I really enjoyed my lemon grass chicken, it was cleanly prepared, had some light heat, and was tasty. The clear soup as an ending was perfect.

I recently visited Bunbunbun in Dalston and had an overall enjoyable experience, especially when it came to the food. For starters, the salt and pepper squid was crispy and delicious, but the chicken katsu was a bit of a letdown—bland and something I wouldn’t recommend. The main dishes were where the restaurant truly shined. I had the coconut curry chicken with jasmine rice, which was absolutely fantastic! The flavours were rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced—definitely my favourite. My husband had the pork belly with sticky rice. While the pork was tender and cooked to perfection, it lacked any sauce. Thankfully, the generous portions allowed me to share some of my curry sauce, which he really enjoyed with his meal. The service, however, could have been better. We visited during a busy time, and with a queue at the door, it felt like we were being rushed. The staff seemed eager to get our order quickly, which made the experience a bit less relaxed. That said, the food was the highlight, and I would absolutely return—especially for that coconut curry chicken!

London’s Thai scene finally has a champion for authentic thai food. The whole sea bass is a revelation, featuring a golden, crackling skin that gives way to steaming, tender meat soaked in a vibrant lime and chili dressing. The soft-shell crab follows suit, eschewing heavy batter for a delicate, peppery crunch that highlights the crab’s natural sweetness. It is bold, bright, and easily the most satisfying seafood crunch you'll find in the city.

I ordered the beef pho and claypot eggplant. The eggplant was very tasty and pairs well with plain rice. The pho broth was good but lack a depth of flavour. The service from the staff was extremely good and definitely elevated the experience.
